I'm helping out a friend of a friend in the backwoods of Tanzania where computers are funky and internet access rarely available.  

I'm packing up supplies, memory, power cords, boards, drives, routers etc for a flight to Tanzania tomorrow morning.  This lady who writes from her ancient mac will not be on the internet before the care package boards the flight for Tanzania.  I need to know more about which mac she is talking about so I can assemble a package of powercords, memory, etc. Our junk is gold over there....

I need to see the attached photo so I can prepare her upgrade package for tomorrows flight.

If you had time to get two things for me resp. my McIntosh (Mac OS X  //  1 GHz PowerPC G4 //  1 MB L3-Cache // 768 MB SDRAM), that would be great:

- that  "thing" that makes wireless reception possible

- a cable (+ "transformer") to connect my Mac with the socket and get power any solid kind (see photo)

To start out, I would just like to thank you a lot for making the BinHex Converter! It's a relief to be able to open Mac email attachments on my Linux Mint machine without having to ask the sender to resend in a cross platform format every time. However, I wonder if you have any interest in making your converter available for download somehow, so that I could make sure I will always have it on my laptop even if you would take down your web page or something would happen to it. Of course, I understand that you might not want everyone to sit with a copy of your work, but since it's such a great tool I thought I would drop you a line and ask.
